Results Day
Results day
Dear Parents / Carers
I am writing to you with details of the GCSE/Vocational results day for Year 11 for 2020. The specific arrangements are subject to change should there be further national or local government guidance on social distancing, lockdown and Covid-19. We will inform you should this be the case.
To ensure everyone arriving on site to collect results is able to maintain safe social distancing we have organised for a staggered approach. Please arrive at the time allocated in the schedule below:
Date: Thursday 20 August
Times:
Surnames starting with A - C |
Surnames starting with D - L |
Surnames starting with M - R |
Surnames starting with S - Z |
10.00 – 10.20am |
10.30 – 10.50am |
11.00 – 11.20am |
11.30 – 11.50am |
Venue:
Enter via the Yellow corridor door and collect your results from the Main Hall. To support social distancing please leave by the time outlined above.
If students are unable to come in on the day you can nominate somebody to collect their results for them. We must have this in writing or email in advance. If this is via email please send the request to our Exams Officer Mr Stephens at stephensm@blaisehighschool.co.uk
If students cannot come in and you cannot nominate a person to collect the results they will be available for collection from September 2nd at Reception when the school is open for the new term. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to email results to you via the email address we hold on the school information system. This will be at some point after Thursday 20 August. If you would like to receive results in this way please email Mr Stephens at the above email address.
Staff will be present on the day to celebrate with students and to provide support and guidance if required. We are also hoping to have some post 16 providers available but this will depend on social distancing guidelines at the time.
Yours faithfully
Ms K Brown
Headteacher
